The sensational Item number girl belongs to a middle class family in Mumbai; her father is a cop in Mumbai Police. While Rakhi was still in High School, she was approached for a role in ‘Agni Chakra’ and it was with this movie that she made her debut in Bollywood. Rakhi was encouraged by her mother who couldn’t fulfill her dream of becoming an actress and wanted her daughter to liveup to her dream.
